Interactive lighting installation

An interactive lighting installation for artist Lindsay Perth and the Glesshoose Collective. Community engagment project in an area of Edinburgh under extensive regeneration, the piece is installed in a newly built NHS medical centre. Co-designed with community stakeholders as a way to bring people together and colour and motion to the space.

Philips HUE lights, sensors and Arduinos control animations that are triggered and shaped by the presence of the people using the space. 52 pieces of hand-blown glass represent the individual and unique members of a diverse community.
